Dr.N.S. Gowri Ganesh received B.E. and M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India, in 1993 and 2000 respectively. He also received Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2015.
His association for employment is a blend of both academia and Industry.
In 1993, he joined the Numeric Power Systems Ltd., an UPS manufacturing Industry and worked in the Research and Development, Production and Quality departments. He worked as Senior Technical support Engineer for technical support(off-shore) cases for Sybase Inc. He worked as a Lecturer in Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology,Chennai. He worked as lecturer and head in R.R. Engineering College, Tiruchengode between 2001 and 2004. In 2004, he worked as Senior Lecturer in Siva Subramania Nadar College, Chennai. He joined the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) , a premier R& D organization - scientific society under MeitY(Ministry of Electronics and Information TechnologY), Govt. of India in 2006. He worked as team head in various open source projects and was involved with the first seed version of Indian version of Linux – BOSS (www.bosslinux.in). He was the SEPG Head for acquiring CMMI Level 3 for C-DAC,Chennai. He is presently working as Professor in Department of Information Technology, at MallaReddy College of Engineering and Technology from 2016.
He is also academic member in Board of Studies in various colleges. He was a member in Anna university syllabus framing committee for "Free and Open source software" subject as C-DAC representative. He had chaired for various technical panels in service oriented architecture and opensource topics. He had visited as guest lecturer to various institutions.At MRCET, he coordinates and conducts online assessment for students as a pre-placement preparation activity.He is also certified RED HAT CERTIFIED SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (RHCSA) , RED HAT CERTIFIED SYSTEM ENGINEER (RHCE) .
He coordinated for the international conference organized in collaboration with Springer. He is also serving as reviewer for various national and international conferences. He coordinated various technical symposiums and faculty development programmes. He is member of various professional bodies like ISTE, CSI. He also filed patents in intellectual properties of India.He had guided for UG and PG student projects. He evaluated Ph.D thesis for various universities.His area of interests are Cloud computing, Semantic web services, Provenance, IOT, Blockchain Technology. He published research papers in national and international conferences and journals indexed by SCOPUS, SCI. He had also written book chapter for technical publications such as CRC press.
