Dr. CH Kiran Kumar is an accomplished academician and researcher with 20 years of teaching experience in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and M.Tech in VLSI from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). He earned his Ph.D. in Signal and Image Processing from Lovely Professional University (LPU).
Over the course of his academic career, Dr. Kiran Kumar has been actively involved in teaching, research, academic administration, and student mentoring. He has published research papers in reputed international and national journals and conferences and has also contributed to the academic community through book publications. His research interests and academic activities reflect a strong commitment to emerging technologies, signal processing, image processing, artificial intelligence, and related areas.
Dr. Kiran Kumar has actively participated in and contributed to Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), workshops, seminars, and online lectures, continuously enhancing his professional knowledge and supporting knowledge dissemination and skill development. He has guided numerous UG and PG student projects, mentoring students in research, innovation, and technology-oriented projects.
As an academic leader, he has undertaken several important institutional responsibilities, including serving as a Placement Officer, Social Media Coordinator, and Project Mentor. He has contributed significantly to curriculum development, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), NBA and NAAC accreditation processes, and institutional quality initiatives.
He has also played an active role in organizing and coordinating hackathons, international conferences, innovation programmes, workshops, and other academic events, fostering an environment of research, innovation, entrepreneurship, collaboration, and student engagement.
In recognition of his contributions to academics and institutional activities, Dr. Kiran Kumar has received awards including Best Teaching and Best Organizer. He is a professional member of IEEE and has successfully completed professional and technical certifications through platforms such as NPTEL, SWAYAM, and Coursera.
