B. Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI & DS) is a four year full time undergraduate programme with the skills to perform intelligent data analysis and impart knowledge of advanced innovations like artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. The major focus of this programme is to sensitize students with statistical, mathematical reasoning, knowledge discovery, affective skills, psychomotor skills and visualization skills. AI&DS is a fast growing discipline and is full of rigorous practical analysis. This program has been started with an intake of 60 in the year 2021.
The literature and practices of Artificial Intelligence is getting revamped dramatically and reacting a point where it gets reinvented. The global marketplace is looking forward for the complete restructuring of digital solutions to business/industrial process at large by building intelligent systems. The industries and businesses all over the world has been undertaking massive projects to radically modify their enterprise software systems, by integrating Artificial Intelligence techniques and coupled with Data Analytics.
Building human-level thought processes through the creation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the state-of-the-art in Computer Science. Intelligent machines are influenced by emerging technologies, smart devices, sensors, computing power, faster data processing, huge storage and human-machine interaction capabilities. Data Science (DS) is an interdisciplinary field with the ability to extract knowledge/insights from data - be it structured, unstructured, or semi-structured data. AI with DS, is in demand with the extensive usage of smart phones, innovations in social media, online banking, etc.., and more efficient and powerful solutions to smart environments including Internet of Things and Industry.
