Dr.G. Sharada, Professor, HOD of Department of Information Technology, has acquired her M.Tech and Ph.D degrees in Computer Science & Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU), Hyderabad. Her teaching experience spans a period of 25 years in reputed Engineering Colleges and Universities. She is a qualified candidate of National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturership at Master’s Level and recipient of National Scholarship for outstanding performance in Graduation. Having worked in the capacity of faculty member and Course Coordinator for Under Graduate and Post Graduate programmes in Computer science, she possesses the capability of handling various computer science subjects effectively and has cultivated the necessary administrative, inter-personal and communication skills to manage both academic and extra-curricular activities in a typical educational environment.
Her professional experience encompasses a range of academic aspects like Establishment and development of effective teaching-learning procedures and processes; Project guidance for students in B.Tech and M.Tech streams in the areas of software engineering, artificial Intelligence, computer graphics, operating systems, OOPS, databases etc; Faculty Incharge for Computer Sc. Associations and Student Chapters; Association with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and other Engineering Colleges in the capacity of Guest Faculty and Examiner; Member of Academic Council and Board of Studies
Her research interests are Artificial intelligence and Software Engineering. She has published papers in peer-reviewed National and International journals and presented papers in International conferences. During her tenure she has attended and conducted several subject related workshops and seminars in contemporary domains. She is a member of CSI and a life member of ISTE. She has published text books and has two Patents to her credit.
